Lofoten Islands

Twid and Gareth had a great trip to the magic Norweign Islands in the Arctic circle. They climbed 6 out of 7 days climbing 4 star routes every time. The rock was perfect and quality as good as anywhere. They stayed in some log cabins on the edge of the sea in the 'Venice of the North' Henningsvaer. Twid aims to be there 2010 during the rock feastival 'Codstock' if you fancy rocking in the day and rocking all night in the endless daylight!

Alaska 09 Kitchatnas

Twid and Thane flew into the Kitchatna Spires in Alaska to try and make some first ascents. After initially having some good weather a storm hit the region for about 6 days. This pinned the team down for most of their two period in the hills and made little chance of climbing any routes.

Ski Touring Season

Twid ran a series of ski tours through out the Alps. The Haute Route, Oberland traverse(washed out!),Swiss 4000m and intro tour. The weather was on the whole mixed which ment moving many tours and venues. The snow on the whole was amazing with very good days above Verbier, Zermatt and Chamonix.

States Big Ice, Desert Towers and Red Rocks

Twid, Thane and Fabian had a great trip to Colarado, Utah and Nevada. The road trip started in Vail to climb the classic ice route 'Rigid Designator'. The following days climbed classic routes around Ouray included Ames Ice Hose VI. The team moved to moab to climb Owl Tower, Castelton Tower, Moses Tower in the desert.
After a short stop in Zion the team ended the trip partying in Red Rocks climbing many classic routes.

Cogne Ice Climbing 6th Jan

Climbed Cascade de Lillaz in good shape. Top pitches a bit thin. Climbed one of the tunnel routes on the way down the valley 4+. Generally stonking conditions in Cogne no shortage of ice anywhere. Good tracks to most routes.

Climbing in Mali on Twids last trip. Twid and Steve Mayers Climbed 7 routes 4 of which where new routes. Most up to 9 pitches long andaround E4/5.
